CHETNA believes that women can and should play an active role in development. We recognize that women's subordination has to be tackled in the home and society and that men also have to be involved in this process of change.

The strategy includes creating spaces for women,helping them build up confidence and skills, enhancing their role as producers and helping integrate them into the mainstream.

Our gender activities a nodal point for us to consolidate and build upon our own and other's experience in developing greater gender sensitivity in order to enhance the quality of our work.
